A fact which has never strengthened the (RMT) lexis case, IMO

Because Obrien works for LBC. At best this is considered 'robust debate' which some people think is a substitute for fact based evidence and calm discourse. At worst his job is to throw mud and see what sticks. Lynch upsets capital, capital pushes back, Obrien can do that job jsut as well as any of his creepy colleaguesMick Lynch didn't become general secretary of the RMT until almost 5 years after the referendum and with no plans to renegotiate the issue on the horizon, I don't know why the fuck O'Brien would be badgering him about his position.
Exactly.<philosophical posting>
He hasn't solved the Irish border issue though, has he..?
Exactly.
Every day, I look myself in the mirror and offer up the anguished cry: 'neither have I'. Every damn day.Exactly.
And here, finally, we have the very first (and almost certainly, last) real and tangible benefit Brexit has ever produced. Sadly, not to us.
Not anytime soon though; looks a lot like the appeal of leaving has plummeted since we led the way.Austria, Finland and Holland, have sizeable anti-EU political movements and some suggest that up to 50% of Italians want to leave. Those are where the next movements will come from.

Support for leaving EU has fallen significantly across bloc since Brexit

Maybe its more to do with Russia than with our inspiring example, idk.
eta i see brogdale has done this already but still, why do people reckon this is happening?
Not a suprise. I don't think Vatican City will be setting up passport gates on St Peter's Square though, paying once for Italy should be enough
Three years for 7 euros isn’t it?
Great. Once again Brexit being fantastic for skint people!
Is that true even for short (less than 90 day) trips ? ETA ok I see it is, we’ll be required to fill in the form every time we travel, which incl info on your job any criminal record etc.
That's as maybe, but what about your opinions on Harry Mountbatten-Windsor's new book?!I think like the arcitle suggests, it's a combination of Russia, the political chaos here, and a sluggish economy generally (plus maybe Covid too).

Brexit’s only major achievement to date is that it has scathingly exposed the ineptitude of this country’s political class.
Many of us were aware of their ineptitude already, TBH, but if Brexit has helped to spread that awareness a little further then it's a job well done IMO

But their inspections are world-beatingAdd a £100 million facility in Kent to inspect Ukrainian pets to the list of benefits.
It is built on a vast 230-acre site, with a total cost put at more than £100m, and has space for 1,700 heavy goods vehicles. Security staff are on patrol at several checkpoints around its 12-foot-high perimeter fence. Inside are new state-of-the-art buildings and equipment for inspecting imports from Europe.
But more than six months after completion, this heavily guarded supposed showpiece of a newly independent Britain lies all but deserted. It is labelled by people who live nearby as the great white elephant of Brexit, spanking new but largely redundant. The only imports being inspected are a few pets from Ukraine.
