2020/21 Pre season friendlies and fixture list

Fans are admitted at Casuals level so probably; however I'd expect it to be all ticket and could well sell out. Hamlet may be limited to a third or so of available tickets as the away side.

With London now going on the watch list there may be ramifications if the area moves into further restrictions. People are being advised not to attend matches as spectators in some areas under further restrictions.

Keep an eye out for announcements.

Edited to say it seems they are able to admit 600 as they declared 365:in the Trophy so may not sell out.

Casuals seem to expect to be allowed to have fans in the ground. Not seen any formal confirmation for the appropriate authorities this will be permitted though.

The other Corinthian of the Step 5 Southern Counties East League, based at Longfield Kent, have already been selling tickets for their tie against Hampton.

From the Bromley commentary, Lewis White on the bench today, only other new name is Lexus Beeden, a young centre back who was released from Reading’s academy at the end of last season after joining them from Tooting & Mitcham last summer.

Line up:
Paddington; Ming, Masampu, Debrah, Embalo; Timlin, Hyde, Sammut; Moore, Barbosa, Henry.

Bench: White, Higgs, Mills, Grainger, Taylor, Kuagica, Beeden.

Was impressed again with us today, defensively we are in good shape with Debrah, Ming and Embalo, and Timlin just in front. Look like we will be hard to break down and hopefully can use the likes of Mills and Reise to grab a goal the other end. James Pardington was excellent today, three smart saves during the game and two in the shootout. Will be a great battle for the number 1 spot.

Great goal keeping from Jamie Pardington, Ming was back and on form, calling players out (we like to see if in measured doses ) Debrah solid, White busy bee
looked good

Thought Hyde looked good when he could get on the ball including a great run through the Bromley defence that forced the own goal, and some smart one-twos with Sammut. Hopefully a bit more cohesion and understanding will build in the final third as more game time is had, but as Tom has said, encouraging solidity in defence.

That was an encouraging performance again. Sammut looks comfortable in central midfield against a fairly physical Bromley side: good warmup for the league. Hyde looks a find and Musampa also.

We also play at a higher tempo than last season: I was enjoying the game. Given only 250 were apparently watching the stream it would have been nice to have gone.

Bravo to Pardington: great game!

Hearing rumours of an announcement on Monday, seemingly from the F.A, to confirm whether or not fans will be permitted in
the cup where the away team is Step Two.

Have to say I feel sorry for home teams who will have to try and police that one. How to create a potential flashpoint. Not exactly fair on their, often numerically small and not that young, volunteer base. A ludicrous decision.

I've already seen a Tier Two fan threatening to kick off if he is denied entry to a match he has already bought a ticket for, by the home side.

It is bloody nonsensical - particularly in London where an awful lot of fans of either side won't have London accents and are hardly identifiable as being from Dulwich or wherever if they go in civvies...are they going to put people out if they celebrate goals? Don't think so.

Unfortunately the Casuals may have been put into a position whereby they have to try and turf people out for celebrating an away goal. It's just the sort of game the authorities may pop along to looking for breaches.

A club not a million miles from me has already been on the receiving end of "advice" from the authorities after non compliances by spectators were either reported or spotted.

From the preposterous FA statement on this debacle:

'Both clubs shall ensure that spectators of the visiting club are not in attendance at the match.'

Incredible...

The sensible compromise is surely just to turn up without colours and not draw attention to yourself as a supporter of the away club? If the host club has already sold you a ticket (I know of Hampton and Maidstone fans who have already bought tickets for their club's away tie) it's probably more trouble than it's worth trying to stop them gaining admission.

Our opponents are allowed a maximum of 600 under current regulations. They typically get around half that number. How many are they likely to sell if no away fans are allowed? Apart from anything else it's going to cost them revenue. Fucking stupid.
