2020/21 Pre season friendlies and fixture list

Sutton website says they're not currently allowing spectators into friendlies for their game against Eastbourne. Wealdstone is trek mind you, last time I went there in on the tube it took me about two and a half hours from Streatham Hill.

Anyone know the official crowd at the VCD game?

Glad Ming is back - mistake letting him go but remember seeing a major bust up at concord away!!

Also, classic Sanchez moment, was yelling at Mills to organise all of the attackers during a set piece. First he shouted “Millzy”, didn’t get Mills attention. Then shouted “Danny Mills, get them together, get them together” in a very authoritative tone. Mills looked confused as if being asked to heard sheep, Sanchez looked disgusted after the set piece was taken and went out for a goal kick.
Nice to see Ming back and being vocal on the pitch. There was more talking between players in the second half, something that didn’t happen much last season.
He is a school teacher, which is probably where the authoritative tone comes from.

Any news on more pre-season games? We're still due to visit Sutton next Tuesday and Wealdstone on Saturday week, both behind closed doors at the moment, but that's it as far as I can recall. I've heard nothing mentioned for this Saturday.

Only problem is we already have a game on Saturday.
That was last week. Did we play last weekend? I haven't seen any reference to a match played on the 12th.

£5 to watch the stream!
I guess they have to charge if they're going to do it at all and I doubt a smaller fee (say £2) would attract more punters, but I can't believe many people will pay to watch a friendly online.

I'm going to.

That's ridiculous. Maybe they think they're in the Premier where fans are routinely ripped off and treated like shit?

For context, I tried to buy the Scotland games as a one-off on NOW TV recently, rather than buy a Sky Sports subscription. £15 a game in HD. I don't know how much it is to buy an individual Premier League game but it's probably similar.

But this is a non league friendly!

That's my point! I've not said I agree with Sutton's pricing! It is a bit daft frankly. However as there's no fans they're probably looking at it to get some sort of income in. VCD was £4 to get in and I wouldn't have expected that for free...
