Sorry to hear this - hope all goes OK at the vets.I'll PM you tomorrow
I've got a very snotty, sneezy Casper on my lap at the moment
He's back into the vets tomorrow. He's following the same course as FiFi and Clive but the sneezing was improving but now seems to be worsening.
At least he's eating and drinking so that's one thing we're not having to get too concerned about
Hope it goes ok.Someone's going to the vet in a bit
Good luck, both.Someone's going to the vet in a bit
Hopefully the antibiotics do the trick. Sounds like there could be some sort of cat bug going round. So back from the vet safe and sound
Continuation of a suspected virus theory which could have reduced all cats natural immune system allowing the naturally occurring nasal bacteria to start a secondary infection
He's a bit dehydrated at the moment so he had a subcutaneous rehydration injection and a further injection and he's just been started on a 7 day course of antibiotics. These can either be sprinkled on food or he can be pilled. Seeing how easy the vet made it look he'll be having these in food
Interestingly the vet also mentioned that her cat is going through something very similar
If it helps, obviously in your own time, it would be lovely to see photos of her in her youth
Possibly an abscess? Paddy had a bite abscess on his head a few years ago and we wouldn't have realised had it not been for the vile smell emanating from it.Ugh. There is an intensely disgusting cheesy smell coming from Ken's rear end (not a euphemism, it's not his arse). Google suggests a problem with his anal gland. He doesn't seem bothered - no excess licking or any scooting - so I guess I have the enviable task of monitoring the smell over the coming days.

Could be the change of food. Check with the vet so they can get to the bottom of it (scuse the pun). Thanks - I've had a bit of a prod around the area and he doesn't seem to be in any pain. Just given his brother a sniff (what have I become) and he smells a bit similar. Have recently changed their food, wonder if it's that?! It's foul.
Looked spaced out for a while but looking better now, phew!Given Misty her first insulin injection, it took over an hour to eat all her food! wanted to start at 9 but moved already
She looks a bit unsteady/confused :/
That's a beautiful pic.
