Thankfully she had leggings and thick socks on so not badly got.

Came downstairs to find that Vic had left a plump but very dead mouse under Mrs SFM’s chair. He then stood looking up at her for appreciation of this thoughtful gift. Mrs SFM gave Vic a hug while I gave the poor rodent the last rites and a Christian burial. “E Spiritus Sanctus”

He climbed up my leg and prowled around inside the cape hunting my hands for a bit, then fell asleep in a boneless puddle in the crook of my arm.
