How thick is the plastic on that? I hope Sir Dickhead doesn't decide he needs to mark his territory by clawing at it and wreck the whole thing!
That'll be Lady Dickhead up there shouting for a second tea. Polytunnel isn't really her territory, she mostly claws stuff up in and around mine. Sir Dickhead has previously been caught scrambling up the plastic of the internal doors halfway down but they were already shredded. Going to net that gap along the middle of the roof this autumn to keep birds and the bastard ducks out, hoping it'll also discourage the cats...How thick is the plastic on that? I managed to charm a neighbouring kittie this morning, who I think had always been a bit adverse to me. She took some convincing, and didn't go full tummy-tickle, but she definitely enjoyed the nose rub and back massage.
Handsome boy!Scrounger Bloom (after a snack I might add) giving a ‘look’ this morning I find difficult to describe.

Hope she picks up soonKizzy is still not right, not sure what to do :/
She is being moody, ducking strokes and looks unhappy a fair bit of the time recently. Sometimes looks like she is trying to miaow and nothing is coming out and she was lying on arm of sofa next to me moving part of her mouth like a snarl a few times
Not eating all her food with medication either
She is sometimes more normal, wanting strokes and running around jumping on things
And the vet failed to run her sample the other day
Either going to have to tell vet everything and see what they say or get her fully checked out
Could just be that she has not fully recovered from whatever issue she has/had
*Big sigh!
Perked up again now and investigating!
Oh I know it's rare to be accepted, let alone welcomed. Most of them taunt you though, if they're comfortable enough with you.tummy rubs are rarely offered (or advisable even if you think they are) the first time you meet a kitty.
think it took a few weeks before downstairs kitty here invited tummy rubs.

My boy can't get enough of it though. If I'm reading in bed in the evening I'll inevitably have to budge up so he can roll straight onto his back and just take ten minutes of intense tummy-rubbing.
I blew a raspberry on Lil’ Bob’s stomach earlier (as close as possible to his belly button) and he’s OK with it. Try it with Vic and it would be a trip to A&ERadar used to let me blow raspberries on his tummy
Jakey also likes tummy rubs. I tried it with Sonic a couple of times and got glared at. He never bit or scratched, but he had a glare that said it all.

Radar used to let me blow raspberries on his tummy
And he looks just delighted about it
My neighbour had a kitten who allowed that. She'd just lie back and purr like crazy.I used to know one kitty who would happily let me hold her, tummy side upwards, in one arm and provide tummy rubs with the other hand. her 'owner' was miffed because 'she doesn't do that'
