It's a real train-wreck of a performance. I'm seeing lots of people getting disillusioned with him on Twitter; he's undermined any credibility he might have had for some people. (I've seen one independence supporter suggest he's a unionist plant!) Although others are sticking by him. He's not only doing himself damage, but the pro independence cause.

He's a stubborn fucker. The fact is what he says is technically correct, the fans were killed by other fans crushing into them. It's pendanticism to the extreme, ugly and unpleasant...not sure what's going on there. I've not asked him. I have a good idea though.
In the context of wings on twitter it's gone in 72 hours like most other inflammations. I'm not calling what happened at that football ground an inflammation...I'm talking about twitter.
In the context of what wings stands for this doesn't exist. Now, you know I'm not in any way detracting from or trying to diminish or in any other way insult a horrendous thing with the loss of lives because of cunts protected by other cunts. There's a thread for that. It's a good thread, I've been reading it.
Wings is there for a reason. Wings is the biggest political website in Scotland for a reason. It gets the most money for a reason. One reason only. So it's reasonable for people to say it gets attacked for one reason.
That's how it's seen. That's how I see it. What happened to those fans is abhorrent....illegal...punishable...damnable.

Have you read the articles on wings, the replies? You see they're pretty much all on one subject? Do you see anything to concern you? The other sites I've linked to? Where do you see more hate, here or there?
You understand it's about independence from westminster control? It's not about (nigh-on) murdered football fans. It's not about fostering a culture of domestic abuse or religious fervour. (seriously? I mean...seriously? did you think that through?)

Let's be absolutely clear: Wings is a corrosive force on the decency of the independence movement. People who hadn't noticed that before must have now noticed over the last 48 hours.
Anyone who is willing to overlook or excuse Wings' Hillsborough views is no ally of mine. The first glimmer of justice for working class people in decades and he sides with the pigs.
