So it's not a fucking spoiler is it? It's gossip from someone at work. Does the person at work have inside information. Has she seen a preview of the show. Or is it just gossip? So no I won't edit it. It is not a spolier, you have no more evidence that your scenario is real than I do that Aliens killed Archie Mitchel.
A spoiler would be if I watched a movie and told you the end before you saw it. This isn't a spoiler, it's your mate at work wot can't vouch for its reliability. There is a name for that. Gossip.

Someone put forward an interesting speculative plot scenario and I commented on why that particular speculation didn't stand up to scrutiny. Now I am taking flack for discussing something on an eastenders discussion thread.
As far as I am aware, a spoiler is revealing something about the end of a movie or show or book that spoils the experience for those who are about to watch the movie or the book.. This is a spoiler right? The theory put forward was an opinion on what might happen right? So how can I be spoiling the show by discussing something that may not even happen?

I had a bet in the pub with someone this afternoon and then he revealed he had read in the Sun this morning that the character who played Bradders was leaving the show. I knew as soon as he climbed on the roof what would happen.
