guardian, the indy at the weekend, indie on sunday + observer, hackney gazette, buy the odd copy of the times, or even the telegraph if i'm off work....

Pretty much a different heavy one each day (I don't usually bother buying tabloids because I can read them for free in the canteen at work). Except when I want to read a match report, when I buy the Daily Ranger.

I mean newspapers that more than 1% of the population know about.

I don't buy any then. I read the Daily Mail or whatever is laying around the canteen at work (usually Sun or Star).

Guardian. Not sure what you mean by newspapers here though.

Wrote to the Guardian yesterday...and told them that after 10 years buying their paper....4 pages of " Financial News" in a paper that NOE ONE buys for reading such tripe was just to much.....have now kissed them good bye for ever.....

You don't buy any newspapers at all? You mean you rely on U75

I get The Independent, The Guardian on a Saturday (mainly for the Guide) and occasionally the Daily Mirror. Used to get the Mirror all the time when Morgan was the editor (it was probably the most left main stream paper about then, with articles from Pilger), but it's gone shit again now.

I don't have time to read a newspaper, most days. I get most of my news via the internet (not Urban75 though, lol).

The internet does your head in after a while. It's good to put your feet up with a newspaper. Plus you can't look at the internet when you're having a shit, well unless your work is very posh.

I thought you'd just go for the "I don't read" option, Toby.

Reading is something I do a lot of. I have around 3000 books. What I don't do is read national newspapers.

Internet: BBC, then Al-Jazeera usually, for the main news.

And i'll skip through the Mail at home, or the Sun/Star/Mirror at work. But I don't buy any of them.

Shit I thought I put the Telegraph in. Is it worth knocking out one of the others for it?

nah, I'm probably the only person here who ever takes it, and even then not that often.
