The view from the bonnet of my car while having a picnic at Boscobel Court, Shropshire.

English Heritage, it's the Farmhouse and Oak tree that the future Charles II hid in after his the defeat at the battle of Worcester. Lovely place, fantastic cakes...

After our visit and picnic, we drove the short distance to the RAF Museum at RAF Cosford where we learnt about the history of bad manners and polyester clothing.

(Just kidding crabs, it was excellent - kids loved it, and it was free)
