I have a pumpkin seed beer from a micro brewery Stedji (Anvil) that I took some Hungarian visiting academics to visit today. I decided against the whale testicle smoked in sheep dung beer which has been made for Phorri (a feast of unmentionable and inedible foods that some in Iceland have at this time of year). I like to visit Stedji as the mans name translates as Daybright and my boss and I come over all 'ohhhh mr darcey' in his presence.

A Northern Comfort. One part bourbon to one part apfelkorn (apple schnapps), with ice. Tastes mighty fine.

I've got some Aldi wheat beer and some IPA chilling in the fridge. I've spent much of the afternoon reading about making beer and making 5L of Ginger Wine. They are certainly going to go down well.

I'm drinking my first attempt at making cider. If I'm being generous it tastes a bit like scrumpy. At worst I guess it's better the White Lighting. Made from Aldi apple juice. It's also over 10% as I may not have taken into account how much sugar apple juice has in before adding more.
