What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Even though I'm on the route to vegetarianism (via a freezer now half full of meat), we went for roast pork tonight, with a sweet potato and leek mash, french beans and carrots.

I can't think why the idea of pork came into our minds

I really really REALLY fancy a fairly plain lentil soup. By plain, I mean I can't be arsed peeling and cutting up carrots, so it'd be onion, minced garlic out of a jar, and a fuckton of parsley. Hmmm. Going dad's after work though, and by the time I get home, I bet it'll have turned into pasta and sauce.

Superhealthy seafood stew, with onions, carrots, garlic, celery, yellow pepper, 1 can rinsed mixed beans (Dutch, white and haricot), 1 can chopped tomatoes, 1 can pink salmon, 200g fresh prawns, fish stock, squeeze of lemon juice, grated lemon rind, fresh rosemary and parsley. To be served with brown rice (with small knob of butter added for flavour). Pink grapefruit and natural yoghurt with milled flaxseed for dessert.

I was about to recommend a lentil soup recipe, then realised it was you who recommended it to me in the first place :D Firm favourite in this house ;)

I really fancied a non-spicy one this time. Now though I've gone right off the idea :D Hmmm. Perhaps chips n egg?

I think tonight I'll be cooking tuna steak, boiled potatoes with garlic, spring onions, and butter, and steamed broccoli (if the broc is still good, if not I'll do a salad with a mustard dressing which goes well with tuna).
