iirc you dont really like her that much and isnt she mean to her husband too?

If she is as stroppy as I have interpreted from your previous threads/posts, I am not suprised she got in a huff about garden furniture :D

All quiet out here again now :hmm: ... phew

tbh judging by previous posts I suspect it wasn't actually the garden furniture as such, rather than was just a trigger

moomoo be careful lovely :)

She's not my favourite friend tbh but there are moments when she is very sweet and I do warm to her then. :) Like when she invited us over..... :D

Oh, there's no worries there! I'd never do anything like what I think you are thinking about! I think you know me better than that. :)

no I meant as in make sure they don't involve you in their lives - I know what your like for letting them get their own way :D

I wasn't suggesting you'd do that, I've met him :D I have higher standards for you :D

That doesnt stop him having a closeness with you that his wife feels and finds hard to handle.

Although, I am completely outside here of course and I am sure you know what the crack is :)

Oooh, excitement for moomoo and madamv then.

I've been watching Juno and drinking diet pepsi. I must calm down, I don't want to have too much fun on a saturday night do I?

Oh, he's so not my type - she really has no worries there! :D They have always had a volatile relationship, some people just shouldn't be together but they have a 13 year old boy who they both dote on so stay together for his sake. Although he was rather upset tonight and worried about where his mum was. :(

Anyway, to change the subject - did all the commotion outside stress you out at all? We used to have some neighbours like that and I'd get palpitations when they started having punch ups outside my house! I'd lie awake at night waiting for them to start - it would always be quarter past midnight for some reason!

O lord no! sparklefish will attest that I used to live on a very main road and there was always something going on outside. It was ace living there with all the action.:D

Although there were some horrid times when people got hurt. :(

I mostly loved watching the pissed up peeps staggering down the road. Or the lovers tiffing/snogging/fondling.

Getting woken up, taking a zopiclone, getting woken up again, giving up, spending the bus journey thinking "damn, look at these busted looking slags" then copping my reflection and realising I look like a busted looking slag

I'm not though, I'm just tired and dishevilled

Not long Enid, you'll soon be rid of the madwoman in the attic and in your own place.....

Me, I woke up at about half six, and was surprised to see Enid here...she told me about her crazy flatmate kicking off again and giving up on sleep and heading here only to find people asleep on the sofa bed...poor lamb. I've put her down in my bed.

Must be the weather, we had 2 fights outside our flat yesterday. Didn't bother with the police though, by the time they get here the fights are always over.

I do like living on a main road though, because whever I wake up there's always someone about. I like getting up at 4am sometimes just to look outside and wonder who these people are that are walking around at that time of the morning.

pottering around, playing in the garden with the kids, ignoring the housework :) just about to go to work :( and i am on call tonight so not officially off shift till 8 am tmw morning :(

Mooching round a very posh Cheshire Classic Car Show. Nice! But bloody boiling. I seem to have burnt the tops of my feet :(

some shopping (bought new clothes but half will be going back I think), ate lunch in the garden, tided the unruly kitchen cupboard (it had turned into one of those cupboards that chucks things out when you open to door) - in the process of which, smashed a pyrex dish, ahhh the joys of tiled floors :D

now relaxing thinking about what to wear to go out later

Cleaned my washing up bowl, sink, draining board and dish rack

Strimmed half the edges of the garden then the bottom flew off the strimmer. Went back to B&Q where they replaced it. Got home and put it together including the part marked as addendum in the new box...a screw to fix the bottom bit to the top bit :D Finished the strimming, cut the grass, did some weeding and cut back a load of bindweed.

Did the washing and put it on the rack to dry outside.

Had a cold shower, ate a hot dog for lunch...nom...and now settling in to watch the end of the tour de france
