Every Saturday from 10am-3pm in the grounds of Kennington Church, right outside Oval tube station.

We normally pick up some veg, eggs, bread, pies and The Giggly Pig Company sausages. The sausages are 4 packs for £10 and there is always something new on offer. My favourite so far has been Stilton & Asparagus I think but they are all great.

There is also a guy there who sells Laksa and we end our visit with a cup of the stuff.

It is not a big market but most food groups are covered. The cakes and stuff are good and I had a good beer with the bloke that runs one of the cakes stalls. The only stall that is a bit crap (sadly) is the bric-a-brac, car-boot stall which seems to sell absolute crap for a bit too much money. It is a fund raising stall for the church I think but never seen anything even worth considering.

Laksa was new to me until tasted at the market and the guy who runs that stall also sells a product called 'The Fishiest Fish Pie' which I think contains some fish

I have sent a few texts to friends and my BF, made quorn sausage sandwhich and a mug of peppermint tea for breakfast, put some washing on and posted here.
