What are U Wearing 2-day?

Washed black denim dungarees
Black top with black frill cap sleeves. They stick up and remind me of petals
Black/gold cocktail ring
New big goldy rose wreath earrings from Regal Rose
Black birks
Red polish on fingers and toes
Specs
Half a top knot

Today its the usual Fred Perry poloshirt and jeans. I changed into shorts earlier.
I do my best to dress chic for work though, mainly black and white. Painful as it is, I iron my clothes. Sometimes I will throw a bit of colour in there, and accompany my outfit with one piece of costume jewllery, such as a broach or pearl cuff (im allergic to most).
My Mam has amazing style and was a big time shopper. I found two Maxmara coats in her wardrobe during the week! the first is the famous 'camel' coat - worth about 500 quid. It fits but she was 6 foot tall so i will bring it into the store and see if they can get a belt for me. It looks kind of like a bathrobe. Im nervy wearing it, not sure i can pull it off as im petite (pic of coat style attached).
the second Maxmara is their summer coat. Its kind of odd and again, designed i think for a skinny person about 6 foot tall. Im five 6 but if i wear it with all black, it looks good (and comes with adjustable faux fur collar). Life is a funny thing. Your Mam is in a nursing home now, but back in the day she had this great life and was a killer dresser.

my grandmother was a fantastic dresser, and it nearly killed me that i couldn't talk to her about it (not manly). But these days she's quite an inspiration for me even though all i have now are memories - she died about ten years ago.
