Camping in the lakes.

Part one...

Black running shorts, flip-flops, green buffalo special 6.

Pack up tent, campsite doing a tribute to the Third Battle of Passendale - slide in mud, slither into puddle, get completely coated in Cumbrian farm 'mud' from toenails to fingernails.

Part two...

Grey walking shorts, red t-shirt, blue windproof top, brown walking boots. Sweat like a pig, then get drenched, then freeze in the wind.

Stupidly wear trainers to put tent up at next campsite - coincidentally also doing a tribute to the Third Battle of Passendale - trainers get mud and water-logged.

Part three...

Weather clears up, temperature drops like a stone - grey walking trousers, blue fleece, grey woolly hat, black duvet jacket, brown walking boots.

Part four...

Sleeping bag, waiting for the stars to come out.
