Get a blister stick ASAP!! And 2 pairs of thin socks, instead of 1 thick.
I don't find they take much breaking in these days, compared with the old Made In England ones, but I wear them every day.

Mr s has been fine with his but I pretty much live in converse and flip flops so my feet aren't really used to sturdy footwear.
