Trump's gonna split that country apart if he's allowed to. This polarisation is weird but that is the reality now. For instance: how can wanting universal healthcare or stricter gun-control be evil or subversive? There are clear reasonable arguments for it. You might not agree but how does a fully developed adult dismiss it as commie evil and such? Have we lost the debate to massive dickheads who tell them always: you are the best, you are better than them and you are under attack and the real victim. Its self-evidently nonsense. It's a breeding ground for fascism. Yet they will accuse 'the left' for all the ills. American exceptionalism is not healthy or rational. Never has been.

To be against fascism, or the movement towards fascism and against racism is not 'leftist bigotry', 'leftist hypocracy'; it is reason and goodness. We are not immune in this country either btw.
