Here's the latest of our free gigs at Jamm. There isn't one next month - because of the bleedin' Royal Wedding - so please come out to this if you can.
HDIF Presents
Thursday 24th March
The Sunny Street/The Heroes Of The Mexican Independence Movement/Clicky Bones/Frozy
Jamm, 261 Brixton Road, London SW9 6LH, FREE admission
The Sunny Street
When they’re not playing together as Electrophonvintage, Delphine, Remi, Christos and Ian moonlight as The Sunny Street, sketching gorgeous love letters in the atmospheric hinterland between indiepop and dreampop. They're playing this show to celebrate the release of their forthcoming album, "Hidden For Decades", on Plastilina records.

The Heroes Of The Mexican Independence Movement
When we booked The Heroes Of The Mexican Independence Movement, we did so because we were fans of their previous incarnation, The Rocky Nest, and were impressed by the beautiful, delicate indiepop songs on their website. Two days after the booking, Simon Love joined the band. This will be the Hull via London four piece's debut London appearance.

Clicky Bones
The last time Clicky Bones' Jason Idnani-Powdrill played HDIF Presents - as the singer of The Albemarle House, who went on to become The Bridport Dagger - a certain Conor Oberst sidled up to him afterwards to tell him how much he'd enjoyed his performance. Jason's new band combines the Dagger's dramatic tension with Lauren Idnani-Powdrill's stylish vocal. This will be Clicky Bones' second gig.

Frozy
A three piece from London, Frozy play adorable lo-fi pop with a do-it-yourself/do-it-together attitude and always like to have help from friends. They are part of Tri-Linguial records, a collective of musicians from Europe and the USA sharing the lo-fi love. Except to hear vaguely unrehearsed lo-fi pop goodness in the tradition of Beat Happening.
