who has baths these days anyway? Showers are much better.

In summer I have showers and in winter baths, yesterday was bath weather

I just checked and they haven't managed to find their way back yet so that is a win for me!

I might have a bath once every five years, regret it because I'm then a sweaty mess and stick to showers for the next five years.

There is a baby hairy one in the bath this morning. I have left the shower curtain and the mat overlapping into the bath so it may escape on it's own steam.

My family's used no cutlery all day because this (almost certainly dead) bugger's in the cutlery drawer. It was a scary fucker when it was alive. Was sighted on the stairs a couple of times though never moving. Anyone care to offer a species ID or is it just a giant house spider?

I don't mind too much except I know those ones bite. The crane flies bother me a lot more because they get stuck in my hair and bits break off them and keep moving, the stupid incompetent bastards.

They're probably not going to chase you down the garden path - unless perhaps they're giant mutant spiders. Spiders will mostly leave big blundering humans alone, unless they're provoked.

You should watch Tarantula - a great (terrible) B movie about radioactive giant mutant spiders, or something. Shit but good fun, with massive spiders terrorising towns and eating people.
