The George Galloway Party Van

Can there be any sight to strengthen a leftist's heart stronger than that which has just been seen on the Euston Road? An open topped bus, symbol of egalitarianism and the working man, with Glorious George waving and greeting passers by with the cry "Hello! Yes, hello!" At his sides, two women sing along to revolutionary change anthem, "Respect", whilst behind him a gentleman waves a rainbow flag emblazoned with the word, no, the demand of our times: PEACE.

Unfortunately I am unable to upload the poor photograph I took, but rest assumed that it was a glorious and uplifting experience, and that it would be a bitter cynic that would suggest that the true state of the bus was that of Galloway's campaign. By which, of course, I mean, stuck in traffic.

I hope there's a picket of outraged Social Workers insisting that they are Real Respeq - and Galloway's outfit is nothing but a bunch of usurpers.

Down with Fake Respeq! Down with Galloway!
Long live al-Respeq, the one true al-Respeq!

It couldn't really be a picket, the bus is (technically moving). Perhaps they could stroll alongside it handing out counter-propaganda?

I was hoping you'd completed the image in your OP with some mad tramps following the bus haranguing it, a la JHE, KBJ etc :D

Yes, the traffic jam was caused by a brief glitch in time-space, which saw London's future under Boris Johnson projected into the past, causing a temporary but incredibly unexpected traffic jam. Londoners gathered to see the strange relic of London's past, and wept for the future, as they thought that traffic jams had been erased from London for ever. Like cholera, the costermonger, and doodlebugs.

that would make me laugh as much as when i saw Westwood in his 'big dawg' people carrier

I just saw this party bus out of my window on Holloway road,
it pulled up outside the Lord Nelson.
Looping the soul song "respect" and Galloway sounding bored
out of his mind repeating the mantra "have respect vote respect" in a dull bassy voice.
I think I heard someone on the street heckle him and a bulldog out the back of our flats went
beserk at the sound of Gorgeous George's lovely voice ;)

Perhaps he was on a pro Chines occupation demo

"China's supposed "occupation" of Tibet (in fact Tibet was always part of the Chinese motherland, and has been rescued from the mists of obscurantism under the demi- God Dalai Lama by the Chinese revolution)"
G.Galloway
