In the absence of Sealion thought I'd start this season's thread.

I was feeling slightly less pessimistic about Wednesday's chances given our upturn in form since Steve Bruce took over - and right on cue he appears to have walked out to take the Newcastle job.

Would have thought Leeds are among the favourites, and be interesting to see how West Brom get on under Bilic.

I've just looked up the odds, and as it stands, with the transfer window open for a while yet, Leeds are favourites for promotion, marginally ahead of Fulham.

As usual, my club, Birmingham City are in utter turmoil, sacking gary monk and selling our only two decent players lol! Think this might be the season we finally go down. Ah well, same as it ever was!

Seems like Steve Bruce never really wanted to be at Wednesday, took him ages to actually start with his holiday getting in the way and now he cant wait to get out. At least he stopped the rot though.

Agree with you on that Lorca , Blues are going to struggle after losing Monk and the main strikers. Baggies are getting short up front too after the departure of last seasons main scorers. The Hawthorns faithful are praying that Bilic doesnt bring his old chum Andy Carroll in.

Gonna be a great season again and Leeds keeping their manager makes them favourites for me.

I'm a Fulham fan and am delighted to be back in the Championship.

Ideally I'd love to see us win it and not get promoted. Fuck the premiership!

We've managed to get Tom Cairney and Aleksandar Mitrović to sign new contracts. This is HUGE for us. Probably our best two players when we were promoted via the play offs two seasons ago. We still have a lot of the players from that side actually.

The bookies currently have Leeds as favorites to win the league and then Fulham and Cardiff. But one of the beauties of the division is its very unpredictable.

Anyway...good luck to you all apart from when you play us.

They've made a very big fuss about removing the logo as a way of "giving the shirt back to the fans".
