The Alt-Right

Apparently Gavin McInnes has been arrested live on air

hmmmm ...

i'll go with "rightwing false flag" until otherwise indicated, and i'll be happy to be wrong.

btw, he quit the proud boys because NYC Antifa stood up to them on their own terms and a bunch got convicted so he cut ties before he wound up in prison too. this happened two blocks from where i live. my father was a member of the Metropolitan Republican Club back when it was a bunch of liberals.

exactly right, first question, why did the police allow him to walk around with a sword? second question, why was the event he was performing kept so heavily under wraps? because i'm telling you, most NYers don't even know what he was doing there.

Do open carry laws in the States not extend to swords? (not that I’d even know whether they apply in this case)

NYS forbids open carry.

New York is a non-permissive open carry state. This means that the state prohibits the open carry of loaded firearms.

However, you can still possess firearms in a concealed manner with the state carry license.

That’s the first time I’ve seen gun laws called “stringy”. :D

we found the voter fraud

"Jason T. Schofield, the Republican Rensselaer County Board of Elections commissioner, was arrested outside his residence Tuesday morning by the FBI and charged with fraudulently obtaining and filing absentee ballots last year using the personal information of at least eight voters without their permission"

No-one as yet appears to have claimed responsibility, but....:

E2a just seen this:

steve bannon jailed, if only for 4 months.

also, if you're too nuts for newsmax, you're too nuts.

She responded she is a “firm and solid and immovable believer in God.” She added those controlling the levers of power “want us eating insects,” and implied they “dine on the blood of children.”

good news.
just fffffffuck these people.

Here's the thing that gets me about the whole robocall thing, why the fuck would anyone even listen them long enough to be misinformed? As soon as I find out there's not another person at the other end of the line, I hang that shit up. Nobody saying anything worth listening to is going to use automated telephone calls. If it really is genuinely important, then they can have an actual human being phone up, or they can send me a letter.

i sympathize, but my pharmacy communicates by robocall.

the ones i loathe are:
rrrrrring
myself: "Hello?"
them: "Hello?"
myself: "Who's calling please?"
them: "Hello?"
SLAM. i have the impression they're trying to record my voice.

just make sure you don't say "my voice is my password" as used by some telephone banking systems
