What to people think about the development taking place over railway lines?
I recall a shop being built across the line at Gerard's Cross collapsing and believe there is a similar development currently under way. I know there is no logic to my fears but I can't say I like the thought of it.
News reaches me of a proposed development of 5000 properties in or around Clapham Junction and it just feels so wrong 'Once in a lifetime opportunity' as more than 5000 homes could be built above Clapham Junction

Be a shame to lose the open air of the station, and certainly ruin it for all the train spotters at the ends of the platforms, but I guess as more people are here those drawings at least looks quite pleasing.

Gonna be happening a lot as they try and make as much money out of the railway estate as they can. Will make the platforms even busier in the mornings.

Oh lets turn waiting Clapham Junction into a more miserable prospect in dank concrete underground platforms with the wind whistling through just like victoria. I think fuck off is the best statement to this.
