I voted for them at the recent Council elections.

We had a half decent Indie Candidate standing this time. Trouble is, last time he was elected he copped a six month ban for standing up in the Council Chamber and saying we should have armed vigilantes on the streets!

I thought it was the usual press mis-interpretation and asked him about it at a gig not long after, and nope he did say it and he mean't it!

In the end i walked past the polling station come church hall on my way to the pub for a poker tournament. I just couldn't be arsed.

Oh as if to reinforce the message in my thread did you know that Blackpool has a Tory council.? Blackpool. In the North. I laughed at all the police action outside winter gardens last year where loads of em wandered round annoying people, taking cans off people, then later the helicopter was scrambled.
I just thought "ha ha there's another few quid on their council tax bills. That'll teach the CUNTS!"
