Clegg scum, rather than Tory scum I assume?
indeed.

Fuck knows exactly how they come up with that precise figure, it's basically 'we are pretty convinced' as far as I can tell. I suspect they're giving Clegg a positive personal vote tho. The eejits

Dunno, might not be far off. We'd say Labour have a 100% chance in Sheffield Heeley for example.

I think this election result will be a shit...it'll just be a matter of degrees of shit imo.
The only enjoyable thing will be seeing if the lib dems implode and seeing clegg lose his seat would at least give us a smile on election night.

Dont understand your question mate...not being rude...i genuinely do not get it...

Imo this election will end up as
A) Tory win...fucking horrible shit
B) Tory majority ... ukip and dup coalition...fucking horrible shit
C) Tory majority ... lib dem coalition....fucking horrible shit
D) Labour win...a little less fucking horrible shit
E) Labour majority...some coalition...a little less fucking horrible shit

Whatever happens it'll be horrible shit...imo

You also have to think of what happens to the losers too - a defeated labour party is likely to eject the leader and move even further to the right, blaming defeat on failing to attract voters from the (ever shifting rightwards) 'centre ground', plus finger-pointing at greens or other left parties for splitting the nominally left vote, perhaps discouraging voters of those parties from voting for their beliefs rather than tactically.

Hammered lib dems (probably going to happen anyway) may move leftwards, depending on who remains and who becomes leader - hence some extra importance in throwing Clegg out. Beware 'expectations management' and a victory being claimed if they don't do quite as bad as people expect, even if still pretty heavily routed.

Tories may end up finger-pointing and squabbling with UKIP if they do badly - could be a delightful spat on the right, yet if they still end up as the largest single party (which polls suggest) they might still claim some sort of moral victory even if not in government, playing themselves as victims of the system and acting like they have a divine right to rule (they kind of have this arrogance already). I'm hoping for messy splits and defections, but more likely is they'll anoint Boris and rally round the flag.

but still equal before ICM's adjustments of certain to vote and DKs to last election (50% Clegg)
also a phone poll will miss many first year students out. Amongst 3rd year students, 29% supporting Green apparently.

Clegg's never been in much doubt on Lib Dem private polling. Almost zero Tory campaigning in the constit sending a very clear message to their own voters.

Much tighter in BaOS vs. Simon Hughes. Labour mounting a huge 14-hour get the vote out push from adjoining Lab constit's on Thurs itself.

Up the junction -- for ages, I've thought Simon Hughes was a bit more likely to be kicked out than Clegg.

I used to live very near that constituency, and there's huge potential there IMO, despite the big LD majority last time.

I had also been getting hopeful recently about Clegg's General Ejection though.... :(

perhaps every politician should be made to do the 20 pint challenge on election day and only those who can keep it down without passing out should be allowed entry to the house of commons.
