Perhaps one qualifying test for an MP could be an assessment of their practical skills. If they can’t rewire a plug or change a washer on a tap then they’re not allowed to take public office

Lammy might be scum for various reasons, but it's alleged the specific reason given might be a load of right wing codswallop. I have done no research, but would be interested to know.
