Roosh V, Pro-Rape Pick Up Artist, Announces Worldwide 'Tribal Meetings'

No I haven't, sorry. I had an email. It's probably on their website though.
Yep, I can see petitions on there, addressed to "POLICE AND CRIME COMMISSIONERS, LOCAL POLICE FORCES AND THE GOVERNMENT.".. demanding that Saturday's meetings be stopped somehow. That seems unlikely though.

His website says "Since this meetup was never intended as a confrontation with unattractive women and their enablers, I’m moving to save as many of these meetups as I can before Saturday so that men can still meet in private away from a loud, obnoxious, dishonest, and potentially violent mob.' ..

I'd like to locate my local obnoxious mob .

I'm not a big fan of petitioning the State but I think I signed something once and now I get bloody 38 Degree emails a lot :D It'll be interesting to see how it unfolds but I do feel uncomfortable that the MRA-type backlash seems to be gathering pace and public organisation. Uncomfortable in the sense that violence towards women seems to be taking an organised turn for the worse.

What I expect to see if I get there on Saturday night (by the bomber memorial in Green park) is maybe 3 very pale faced teenaged boys shuffling around trying to look like a tribe. I hope that's all it is anyway.

I hope so :D

Scotland seems to be taking this thing much more seriously than England: Organised protests and front page reporting about demands that a new law be introduced criminalising incitement of hatred against women..

Christ. They actually are that thick. The mind boggles - how do they dress themselves in the morning?

Deeply unpleasant character. Should he be protested against or just roundly ignored for being a troll?

There's something fishy about these events. Can't see that many MRAs actually coming to these events. Is he just courting publicly by announcing fictitious events that were never going to happen just to anger people? Or should he be taken seriously?

Yep it's a tricky one really. I'm thinking to go just to see who if anyone is there (8pm this Saturday evening at the Royal Airforce Bomber Command Memorial, Green Park (Hyde Park Corner side). Other cities have big planned demos can't see a thing for London though.

In February 2015, Roosh was criticized for a blog post that he wrote titled "How to Stop Rape" in which he proposed legalising rape.[28] In the post, he said "If rape becomes legal under my proposal, a girl will protect her body in the same manner that she protects her purse and smartphone. If rape becomes legal, a girl will not enter an impaired state of mind where she can't resist being dragged off to a bedroom with a man who she is unsure of—she'll scream, yell, or kick at his attempt while bystanders are still around. If rape becomes legal, she will never be unchaperoned with a man she doesn't want to sleep with. After several months of advertising this law throughout the land, rape would be virtually eliminated on the first day it is applied."

Wow!!

I saw a documentary on bbc3 about him and some quite well educated people turned up to some anti feminism meeting he held in the uk

More meetups will go private on Wednesday night. The name of the game is to stay flexible, embrace the chaos, and minimize risk to yourself as much as possible.

Reading between the lines, I think what he is saying is that if any fedora fuckwit gets twatted, then it's their own fault and they must have wanted it really.

Mentioned it on a previous thread but he was interviewed on Reggie Yates Extreme UK about mra on BBC3. Should still be available in iPlayer if you're curious - for those of you who don't have the time:
he's a fucking dick
