Great photographer - and what an era he captured!

Mick Rock, the photographer who took iconic images of stars like David Bowie and Queen, has died at the age of 72.
Once dubbed "the man who shot the 70s", Rock also worked with the likes of Iggy Pop, Blondie, Lou Reed.

Was a bit shocked to learn the extent of his 'Nick Kent syndrome" - damage to health from trying keeping up with rock stars.... "His cocaine addiction lasted more than 20 years and it took a near-death experience to bring him to his senses when in 1996 he had quadruple bypass heart surgery and a kidney transplant..."
