post your rubbish tunez

guys this thread is amazing. I haven't watched most of them because for some reason it feels more voyeuristic than the naked thread so I just watch a few seconds but good work everyone :D

some of us are worse than others ;) there's some cracking playing/singing on this thread :)

I'm sure there is. But is it ok to watch it and not participate?

dunno about anyone else but it certainly doesn't bother me :) thing with the nekkids is everyone can join in, whereas not everyone can sing/play. i kind of hoped that posting half done things and stuff that really is pretty rubbish might at least lower the bar for participation. everyone should have a go, it's fun :)

can anyone tell me what
Dadd9/C
should look like? :hmm:

You're in normal tuning right? So start with your normal D shape, add a 9th (E) while still playing the 3rd (f#), and then put a C as your bottom note. Going from low string to high, I would fret:

6th - X (muted)
5th - 3rd fret
4th - 4th fret
3rd - 2nd fret
2nd - 3rd fret
1st - Open (E)

That make sense? I'd draw a diagram but i'm at work.

is there any way of playing it up around the 9th fret? :hmm:

i need it up around the 9th :p i've found dadd9 on the tenth like that chart shows but that doesn't cover the /c i don't think :hmm:

actually i don't think it does :( it only goes up to the 15th and this tab's saying 17th/19th for c and em.

maybe this song's too hard for me :hmm:

i'm not sure my guitar has that many frets

i really like crows feet

Thank you :) A few people have said they like that one. Personally I think it sounds a bit too much like Boards of Canada, but that's not a bad thing.

Any slash chord - ie Dadd9/C, F#m/E - is the chord before the slash, with the note after the slash played at the bottom. You can play Dadd9 as:

E - 10th
A - 9th
D - 7th
G - 9th
B - 7th
E - X

So with the C added, it would be:

E - 8th
A - 9th
D - 7th
G - 9th
B - 7th
E - X

What are the chords before and after? There might be an easier way of transitioning, depending on what they are.

thanks again malcolm

it goes (little e string first):

d (9,10,11,12) - g (2,3,4,5)
d - Dadd9/C - g
em (?, 19, 19) - f#m (?, 14, 14) - c (?, 17, 17) - g (?, 12, 12)
