I thought you looked very good against quality opposition - created plenty of chances and one or two could have gone in. No match for England, of course.

I think England would be a lot more of a threat to the Portuguese goal than that Czech team were. The Portuguese are not that solid at the back, the Czech wingers exposed how easy it is to get behind them, they just didn't have the options in the box. Can't see them getting past the semis myself.

I'd expect a lot more goal-mouth scrambles if it was England but more threat up the other end. Lucky day with the wind behind win 3-2 sort of thing. Bad day, get mullered.

Really poor game that last night, thats the first match the tournement I have watched and found myself thinking of switching over. Two pretty poor teams, I can't see Portugal getting to the final.

I was particuarly disappointed with teh Czech's who pretty much offered nothing, it was like they were playing for penalties all along, even when they conceded they didnt seem to react. Ah well, at least it wasnt a 0-0.
