Political compass

Second trial
chart

I denounce myself for not improving. It was a Stakhanovite effort though, I deserve a medal.

Didn’t everyone get bored of this sometime in the previous millennium? Is it some kind of retro-cool to throw out old internet bollocks from the last century? Looking forward to the revived Kersall Massive/Inspired by Kittens enthusiasm. Bring it on.

Just came across a political compass in a 1970s sociology book about attitudes and suggests that something called the Rokeach Value Survey from 1973 was doing this

Got to wondering when the compass axis was first used and surprisingly according to wiki there are two earlier ones from Rokeach:

"A similar chart appeared in 1970 in The Floodgates of Anarchy by Albert Meltzer and Stuart Christie and in 1968 in the Rampart Journal of Individualist Thought by Maurice C. Bryson and William R. McDill.""
