I just have to say,
Peter Dow, that I'm not sure the Giordano Bruno gag
"gag"?
works so well - it's all about context, and being sentenced to death for heresy is just a smidgen different, context-wise, from the Establishment finally responding to you by seizing your computer.
It's not a "gag". I am not a comedian. I am a scientist with a social conscience who has spoken out, all my adult life, for what is right and against what is wrong in this world and I am offended in the extreme by the crimes against humanity and the crimes against the innocents committed by "your" Queen's state, by her officers and officials or is allowed to happen by these royalists even when they avoid bloodying their hands.
I say "your" Queen because certainly she is not "my" Queen but my political enemy and I reject any allegiance to her or to her kingdom in strongest possible terms!
Now when Princess Diana got killed in a car crash - that was poetic justice, that was funny, in my opinion. That is what I would make a "gag" about.
I don't make any "gags" about scientists being put to death for heresy because of their great intellectual leadership in defying the ignorant orthodoxy.
I am now facing a sentence of up to one year
or a death in custody at the hands of other prisoners or the custody officers, as is any person who is sentenced to a period of imprisonment and some have lost their life in prison to violence though they were wrongfully imprisoned in the first place. Prisons are extremely dangerous places.
I have been in prison one time for nearly 3 weeks, more than 10 years ago and I am a changed man. I still suffer post-traumatic stress from the terror I experienced then and now as I am terrorised with the prospect of being re-imprisoned for speaking to my conscience.
I am an exceptionally bitter and angry man. I am not some kind of saint like Nelson Mandela who can come out of 27 years in prison with a happy persona. I have experienced painful traumatic injury from police handcuffs and come out of prison to seek justice against my oppressors and those who oppress other innocents in this country.
What would be just would be if the oppressors of the people - the police, the prosecutors and the judges were to face military arrest and trial by a military tribunal, as per the Nuremberg Trials.
Those officials are fascists and they should be dealt with as such, in my opinion.
Apart from that, it's a nice effort - does Prof. Godwin know you're testimonialising his email to you?
Yes.
To compare what is happening to you to the holocaust is an insult to the memory of six million people slain by the Nazi's (as well as victims of other genocides).
I would never insult the victims of the Nazis. Never would I do such a thing.
I would insult those who hypocritically say "Don't Stand By" while that is precisely what they do as this UK state denies people our human rights, hurts, injuries, traumatises and cages like an animal good decent people who are doing their best for society but their political expressions are understood as "insulting" or "offensive" by pea-brained gangsters who simply cannot tolerate their political masters being embarrassed by the severe political criticism.
Martin Niemöller's poem does not begin "First, they came for the laptops..."
They have come for some innocents already and those innocents are dead or damaged beyond medical repair already and most of you are doing nothing, nothing at all and that is why they are not coming for you, yet.
I am not doing nothing. I am doing something and that is why they are coming for me now.
