I lied about the equestrian bit.
Good to see baseball and softball dropped. Some of the softball I watched (about 30 seconds) would have been embarrassing down the local park.
 
I have fond memories of the World Dominoes Competition which was on Channel 4 yonks ago . Bit of a confusion about whether signalling was allowed but definitely time for a revival .
 
Drunken Jenga would be fun to watch. You start out sober, and every time a block is successfully removed you have a shot of a yet to be decided alcoholic beverage. Rinse and repeat until either the tower or a contestant collapses.

Subsection 1: Strength and origin
(a). The beverage must have a base of distilled alcohol diluted to a strength not more than 45%ABV, and not less than 42% ABV.
(b). The host nation may designate a default beverage.
(c). Competing nations may designate a national beverage as an alternative (the "BYOB rule") subject to the following;
i. That the beverage be of a comparable strength, and;
ii. That sample bottles be provided to the judges.

Compulsory drug testing first. Any contestant who passes is out. Unless 'drug testing' means 'testing drugs'.
 
Anyone know what other choices they considered? Would prefer to see parkour than break dancing - seems more sporty but would still appeal to young/urban demographic.
