Anyone getting anything nice for Christmas?
I fancy the Behringer clone of the Moog DFAM (when it comes out in feb.)
First synth I ever bought. Loved the one sound I squeezed from it. I think I'd be a bit more skilled on it now. I'm actually selling an MS-20 iC, the midi controller version, which was what I used instead. Even the patch bay works, which kind of blew my mind.Behringer K-2 (MS20 clone)
Oh god, me too! If only so that I can post pictures of my setup on Reddit with all the Behringer stuff front and centre. But seriously, I want one.Anyone getting anything nice for Christmas?

Absolutely awesome but do they all work properly? I haven't seen a working Juno that hasn't had extensive repairs and refurb since about 1998.
You seemingly have lots of space (and money).
me and a mate of mine run the studio. His is more the keys side of things, mine is more the desk and outboard.Fuck off!
Is that really yours? If so you must have a body of work that we know. Surely.
I love it.
yes they all work and are all in sync with each other.Absolutely awesome but do they all work properly? I haven't seen a working Juno that hasn't had extensive repairs and refurb since about 1998.

They are nuts! They look like mad centres from a cinema rig. What's with the speaker on the top/side/bottom?
sides are the subs, top and bottoms the mids. They are nuts! They look like mad centres from a cinema rig. What's with the speaker on the top/side/bottom?
they are a bit of a new industry standard, hence I'd like a pair. I need something with ooomph that's used in many different studios, so that I can record / mix elsewhere without getting into too much guess-work-territory. Their sound is not too dependent on the room either, so they sound similar in different studios / set ups.sides are the subs, top and bottoms the mids.
didn't get them in the end, had my eyes on a second hand pair for a good price, but somebody else snapped them up.
I can see that you make instruments, speakers, studio equipment and stands too.Slide guitar rigView attachment 304971
I hate to see these sorts of attitudes on this thread. Hardly encourages people to share details of their equipment, and I highly doubt it will result in more music being shared.Let's hear your tunes then. It's all well and good owning a Ferrari but not much use to anyone else if all it does is just sits in the garage.
Yeah, I'm a much better target for that sort of complaint, mostly due to a lack of talent and confidence. I'm working on it though.and to think that I'm not using my gear is plain wrong.
I'm aware that I'm in a very privileged position to have all this gear at my disposable, and I def make the most of it. The studio and production team was on a good roll before covid, but covid and life in general slowed things down a bit. I have started to work again though, and jobs are coming in, so it's all good.Yeah, I'm a much better target for that sort of complaint, mostly due to a lack of talent and confidence.
