new manix album

Still rinsing the Manix.

Sixteen years late, I picked up "Two Pages" from a charity shop and I reckon it's pretty great, especially Page Two.

I was drinking wine last night and listening to "Page One" and thinking there would be no way I would have done that in 1998. :D

got the manix on now and yeah both great records - Two Pages a serious high point UK 90s album for me, though its still above all else about Page One for me, might have to give Page 2 another try - just cos its post-rave hippy soul doesnt make it bad ;) its much harder to do melodic songlike material than abstract soundpieces.

yeah vinyl sold out already and its not out yet till the 24th! Maybe they'll press a few more up

the Cool Down tracks pretty good but im not loving it

nice one jim, bagged one! it better be good :D never bought a record blind before!

I have many a time if it's somebody like Mark Mac who in my experience doesn't let you down. Also if it's a limited pressing like this I don't think there's too much risk as it will only gain in value the longer you hold on to it and if you decide it's not for you you'll easilly get your money back on discogs. ;)

oh yeah, the money back guarantee is full proof (so long as i dont end up playing it and stepping on it) - i just really want it to be good! One good track will do me :)

aaargh just went on there and said 2 remaining and went to checkout and sold out
 again, should have been paying attention to this thread!

no probs, it did say there were 2 left, i was too slow with the paypal business when i got there i reckon

copies landing today - must say im not that into it apart from track A2 To THe Max which is perfection! ONe track'll do me

ddraig, website says theres a vinyl on the site for sale

Great show getting me through the first day back at work! Loving the rare groove (jungle sampling) excursion - Maxi - Lover to Lover, Foxy - Mademoiselle, Clifford Coulter - Love's Too Hot To Hide - BIG TUNES!!
theres also a tune that he plays thats been sampled by Jazzanova (not a jungle tune) that Id like an ID on - he may well have said what it was an i missed it. will try and provide more info when i get home
Twisted still sounds amazing i think - love the drums on it
