Ad Vitam - French action thriller about a counter terrorist gendarme who gets in a situation.
Mostly it's standard gritty fare but towards the end it completely vaultee le sharke .

Just about to watch that.

We've just binged American Primeval. It's brutal but really compelling. I can see the Deadwood comparisons. We've watched all but one episode over three nights. I've really enjoyed it and I've no idea where it's going.

Pretty much everyone is at war. The Mormons, the First Nation people, the settlers, the government, the bounty hunters, everyone.

There's a battle scene a couple of episodes in that was fucking amazing. You felt like you were right in it.

Recommended? Yeah. But you've got to be in the mood. If it grabs you, you'll be there at midnight wondering if you can just squeeze another episode in.

I might have a look at that then. From the title, my brain thought it was an American version of the British Saturday teatime classic

I thought that too and was disappointed when I realised it was something different
