Airplane II was a poor cash-in made by a different team who simply copied the jokes from the first film. Top Secret! was the legitimate ZAZ follow up to Airplane!. It's probably less well remembered because it was financially successful and rather than parodying one genre, it went after several (spy films, Elvis Presley musicals) but it features some of ZAZ's best gags. I probably even prefer it slightly to the Naked Gun movies.

Airplane! for me- it is not only one of the best comedy films ever made but extremely quotable and of more cultural significance. That’s not to say The Naked Gun is bad- it’s also a great comedy film.

Naked Gun 2 1/2 had me crying with laughter as a kid. I made my sister take me to the cinema to watch it repeatedly, and I memorise and wrote out from memory loads of the lines. SO there's no way I can't call that one the best. It's one of my favourite films of all time.
