Mundane pictures of the North

Fucking hell, I’ve passed that daily when I was in high school and almost daily for years since I moved back and haven’t noticed that!
Do you mind if use the image to ask about it on my local FB group? Or have you been researching too?
No probs - work away matey. Is it the Secret Leeds FB group?

I used to love Eccles in the late 70s/early 80s. There were some great pubs there as well. It's been gutted since, the market is gone, the precinct is desolate and there's not much more than a big fucking Morrisons and car park there now with other shopping moved to that retail park off Gilda Brook Rd. The heart was ripped out of it. It's shite.

I don't think I've ever seen this place open... but should you want a carriage clock, working or otherwise!

The old St Johns Ambulance station, earmarked for something!

QPR stickers aren't the most likely to be seen in this town! And a few have appeared in the last month or so. I'm now tempted to get some West Ham ones to cover them over just to see if it starts a bizarre London club stickering war!

Mary Wollstonecraft (women's rights campaigner, writer, philosopher) lived in a house near the Minster.

A nice looking ex-Hackney Carriage!

The photo in the link above shows my old place of work from 1988 to 2000ish at the far end of the street.
Probably most places on that street are long gone sadly. Certainly everything to the right-hand side would have been demolished for the shopping centre.

eta - Yorkshire Bank is still there it seems.
