Not familiar with those. I suppose another example would be Victor Meldrew where a send up of a grumpy old racist loses the comedy aspect and is just seen as racism.
...my parents always played this one in the car when I was a kid. Musically it's a fucking brilliant bit of 80's glam rock. Lyrically not great at all.
Turning Japanese. Not so much because it's about wanking over a picture of a lust object, but because of the dodgy racist lyrical and musical references. Still a cracking bit of pop though, which makes it even more problematic.
