"Modern Scotland is deep in socialism, leftist tripe and cultural waste"

Didn't the article put the word free in quotation marks? Typical craven fucking right wing bollocks. As if there some sort of dishonesty at work. The only dishonesty is disguising self-interest as some sort of benevolent influence. Cunts.

I meant I couldn't figure out what 'the country working for politics' was meant to mean.

Well done, have a gold star, top of the reading class. When i wrote the post that you're replying to - three months ago - you could not.

One more example of reading deficiency: I replied to the post in good faith, without looking to see who had posted it. :D

I blame the hour of the day, and the fact I haven't had brekkie yet. :)

anytime ive been there im tripping over Footlights tossers, Pipe bands from Delhi, peruvian buskers and all sorts of European mime artistes . Theres not a single person with a syringe of heroin scoffing a deep fried mars bar anywhere. Only for the fact the weathers shite you wouldnt think you were even in scotland .

Try cutting through the Meadows after a night at Summerhall passing by the Ladyboys of Bangkok.

"...the relentless leftism goes almost entirely unrebutted there," says Mona Charen.
Sun Times.

Wow. If that gets her frothing at the mouth, wait until communism wins!

Time of course has altered the numbers. The separatists lost 21 seats at Wesminster, 12 of them to the Conservatives, and are being propped up by the Greens at Holyrood.

A proportion of the populace has regained its sanity, and I don't doubt that as more do, the separatists will be back to their usual handful at Westminster.

Do you have any more forelock left to tug?

Happy glorious 12th!

The nature of regional assemblies itself is more important than the nature of Scotland - no regional assembly anywhere in the country would be elected on a mandate that was more right-wing than the national government.

The NI assembly doesn't strike me as a particularly progressive assembly
