I'm a huge fan of DJ Zinc - as far as I'm concerned, he's one of the best electronic music producers of all time, and since it's been 13 years since I made a tribute to him I thought it was worth pulling together another tribute mix, this time dedicated to his brief but super fruitful era of early 2000's breakbeat garage. Why? Well, not a very complicated answer: these tracks are great! Enjoy!

Loving your genre retrospective mixes sonicrampage - getting me all misty-eyed with notalgia, even for those from the comparatively recent past.
I've also been getting all nostalgic listening to Finn Johannsen's recent Rewind Selection project. I think he must be the same age as me - this is the first one going back to 1989 (I was fifteen and had just discovered the 12" and independent record shops, after four years of just buying 7"s every week from Woolies with my paper round wages)
