I used to go to his street party in Brixton. Don't know if he's still doing those. But he would man a bbq outside his house. He is indeed a big unit. And a not very good chef I have to say.

Monica has very similar tastes to me. Likes her meat rare, her puddings not too sweet and her curries spicy, and is partial to a good whiskey. (And she hints that she has a filthy sense of humour as well.)

Greg likes everything to be overcooked, while Marcus doesn't do spicy.

He was always very friendly at the Brockwell Lido gym, although I used to give him a wide berth walking past him on the running machine, both from the sweat and fearing being squashed if he fell off perspective

Yes, Grace Dent is great and I love her restaurant reviews too, especially as she makes a real effort to review plenty out of London.

Molly is lovely because she comes across as naive, innocent, humble and genuinely overwhelmed to be there. No arrogance, no conceitedness, no expectations. A genuine natural person yet a surprisingly damn good chef.

I am loath to spoil things for Mr &Mrs Numbers so am not saying much. I just can't imagine employing my own private full time chef like Gabrielle; it's a different world.
