Lunch should have its own thread

Smoked salmon and boursin bagels.
Just got a lush haul of 'responsibly farmed' smoked salmon for knock-down price of 79p a packet - glad it freezes so well :)

Option 1 - Baguette with chicken breast, pastrami, salad and mayonnaise
Option 2 - Jacket potato with butter, cheese and beans

Lentil and chicken soup with a twist or three of lemon and a couple of slabs of salty-buttered homemade bread.
An orange, cut into 8 with absolutely no pith on it.

Split pea soup, so I'd better start cooking it soon as it takes 2 hours.
With the usual slabs of homemade bread lathered with salty butter :)

I was the only urban that had lunch yesterday ^

Today...

White baguette with chicken breast, pastrami, mayonnaise and salad
Marmite crisps
Strawberry and yoghurt Alpen bar
Sesame Snaps
Banana

A weight watchers bagel, two eggs (scrambled), a weight watchers chese triangle and some weight watchers crisps. Do you see a theme here!

Soup. :(
Same as yesterday. :(
And the day before. :(
And the day before that. :(

Actually that's not QUITE true - on ONE of the days, I had it for BREAKFAST instead. :(

Soup :) Beautiful soup! :p

I've chopped some spicy sausage into the pea soup and it's going to be delicious. With yet more homemade bread. I love it. My stomach is rumbling now .... I think it's time to bring lunchtime forward as soon the clocks will change. I've been getting up earlier and earlier over the last couple of weeks to accommodate impending clock change :( :)

NO SOUP!!!!! :p :D

I just had three oatcakes with smoked mackerel and cress. I wanted avocado too but they weren't ripe.

A slice of lemon half moon cake and a cup of tea in a minute. :)

Tasty soft wholemeal rolls made by wifeys fair hand.
Couple of slices of last nights pizza (pepperoni and onion NOT pineapple) on the side
2 x Alpen bars
Banana

I just had two eggs, mushrooms, blue cheese and broccoli in a wrap with branstons pickle and ketchup. And cappucino. Technically breakfast but it is almost 1...

Strong cheese with crackers, grapes, strawberries, cherry jam, piccalilly, apple, onion, cucumber and red wine

Had soj's chunky chickpea soup and toast on Sunday,
yesterday I had Sainsbury's basics cottage pie with extra mixed veg (Iceland's finest), and a nom (sic!) yogurt (also Iceland's finest),
and today's lunch was tasty tasty dhal (I surprised myself with having cooked something this tasty) with yogurt and mango chutney and a hard-boiled egg.
:)
