Lunch should have its own thread

mmmm, now I'm working from home  I can have interesting lunches again :) yesterday I made a kick-ass broccoli salad with quinoa and yellow pepper and other such salady yumminess.

today's was scramblied eggs on wholemeal toast. yum. lunch number 2 will be broccoli and cauliflower soup...

I just had beans on whole meal toasted. Perfect for energy for footy later. Might have some home made cheese and veg pie later. Mrs Y keeps me stocked with decent stuff to take to work:cool:

cauldron foods veggie sausages
instant mash
frozen peas
tahini
apple sauce
Dijon mustard.

Badgers "Fursty Ferret" - ran out of "Spitfire"

This was part of a "boxed set" of ales - I was given a year ago. I couldn't finish the first couple of bottles I opened - all flowery / fruity hops. This one's OK-ish, but I already feel a bit gassy from it ...

I threw it in a prawn / pasta salad with some olive oil and a spicy dressing

Fuck knows what's for dinner - prolly beans on toast at this rate

I had some coconut dhal and rice for brunch but got peckish again so just had half a cheese and onion sandwich and a bit of lemon half moon cake

Salad with red peppers, boiled eggs, chorizo, new potatoes and onions today.
Muesli bar and banana on the side.
Washed down with a pint of water.

Suma spicy tomato soup with a veggie wholemeal pastie as croutons,

with biscuits and tea for afters  (bourbon and custard creams :( )

Gah, already hungry :(

Have a good spread today.
Sarnies and a roll, mostly with chicken, pastrami and salad.

i'm glad the lunch thread is having a little renaissance :) today i'm having lentil soup that the boy made yesterday. looks yummmmmm.....

i would like tomato soup and fishfinger sandwiches. what i'll actually have remains to be seen..
