Lunch should have its own thread

I have them occasionally as it's the closest place to my work - I feel dirty afterwards :(

I have one Burger King burger a YEAR :D My lass always drags me there when we do our Christmas shopping. I had to be told where the drinks were last time and how to work them :D

Had no bread this morning so stopped to pick up a sarnie.
Cheese and Marmite made by a sandwich amateur who put more Marmite on than even the most hardened fan could eat

Got sick to death of homemade sandwiches, so am being adventorous this week, and branching out with wraps. Don't think i've quite got the hang of them yet - they taste a bit wierd. Are you meant to actually toast them? I stuck them under the grill for 10 seconds last night (as the packet told me too), but they taste really doughy. Or maybe it's just b'cos i bought the cheapo ones...:hmm:

They're nicer griddled (but just before you eat them - not the night before :p :D ), but you can eat them as they are, too! So better to leave them be if it's for a sarnie that you can't heat.

I used to take chicken or king prawn ones to college - fried in some garlic and ginger and then rolled into the wrap with some shredded lettuce, spring onion, grated carrot, tomato and some mayo/yoghurt mixed together.

Maybe you need something like the yog/mayo mix? Or hummus is good (hummus, salad, olives and fried halloumi is nice - although better in a griddled wrap, I reckon).

Anyway - after all that - I had beans on toast. :D

ah, thanks. Good ideas. Having never made a wrap before, i was a bit stuck as to what to put in it. My normal sandwich filler of philadelphia cheese, tomatoes and baby spinnach didn't quite work!

Rattled through one of those little three-packs of M&S rolls. Cheese salad, smoked salmon and egg, and ham and soft cheese. Oh, and some pineapple.

Om nom nom nom.

A couple of stuffed mushrooms that I got reduced in Waitrose yesterday followed by a chocolate cupcake.

Quite fancy the 'Bacon-copia' but might be a bit heavy for lunch?

Ah. Tbh if I've not go anyone round I don't care what food looks like.

Maybe with the pesto you could blob in the middle then swirl it round :)
