Lunch should have its own thread

I'm going to have a baked potato, with beans and NO CHEESE. neither on-top or on-first....

Beans on toast with a pro cheese slice ON TOP.

^^^ I had similar Sheo but I used 2 Cathedral City mini mature cheddar and melted them on 2 slices of toasted Hovis Wheatgerm bread. Then I added Weightwatchers beans with added tabasco.

So that was cheese first and beans on top.

Same as yesterday - more pro cheese - ON TOP AGAIN!

moonsi - I don't think that counts strictly as plain old beans on toast with cheese UNDERNEATH....cos it's really more of a cheese on toast affair with beans on top.

This is going well people but make sure your posts are clear.

I'm just making some carrot/sweet potato/beetroot/onion/garlic/chilli flakes soup with some of the stock from yesterdays chicken.
Will stick a big load of coriander in before blitzing and might have some goats cheese on top. :hmm:

That sounds nutritious she

I'm having a crap lunch. I had two feta cheese and herb pastry parcels (shop bought but still pretty tasty) and a teacup full of probiotic vanilla yogurt. I don't like yogurt but I'm on antibiotics so I thought i should...
I have some dandelion and burdock to drink and a packet of red leicester and spring onion crisps but i'm not sure if i should eat them. How much cheese and dairy can one woman squeeze into a twenty minute lunch break?
Too much cheese and no veg. I'm rubbish at eating.
I'm afraid I can't have a cup of tea or some orange juice in case everything curdles in my stomach
I want a different lunch :(

You've got the herbs, Shifty! They're green, eh?!? :D

And it sounds like a very tasty lunch to me!

In much the same vein, I had the rest of that soup, with a couple of slices of brie on the top....and then ruined the healthiness by eating a packet of cheese and onion crisps straight after. :D

Bacon goes out of date?

Well, I know it turns a kind of shimmery green if you leave the packet open all week, but it still tastes fine

I just had a big bowl of leek and potato soup that a friend gave me with a nice thick slice of homemade bread with butter.... lovely...

I had cous cous with cold leftovers of roasted spuds, roasted chickpeas, roasted carrots and green beens and pickled red cabbidge. Was blimmin' lush.

nom

I had chicken with left over roasted herby sweet potato and a kind of coleslaw-y waldorf salad thing with red cabbage and celeriac, apple, walnuts and sultanas.

Tinned mackerel (in oil) butties, with a bag of steak and onion crisps. And the obligatory choccy biccies - hob nobs, am going up in the world

Should be crunchy - why bother with smooth? And no butter beforehand

Dunno what I'm having for lunch yet - didn't have the energy to do a packed lunch last night.

Roast chicken and stuffing baguette, pack of Quavers, Wispa Gold and a pint of Ribena will shortly be consumed by me. Lovely.
