Lunch should have its own thread

A late lunch of a defrosted portion of soup that I made last week. It was really tasty. It was a moroccan soup made with chick peas, harissa paste and a few veggies. It was more stewy today which I liked. I had 3 slices of Hovis wheatgerm with it.

^ that sounds like good soup. I keep meaning to make some mexican spicy bean soup but not got round to it yet.

I've just had buttery marmitey crumpets, and have a cup of camomile tea, a kitkat, some grapes, and a fast-fading banana to eat. I'm only eating the fruit because I don't want to waste it (was bought for alcoholic smoothies)

I just had pitta bread with sliced avocado and lots of paprika and onion. My nose is running and I'm blaming the onion.
Was lovely though. Nice cup of tea now and I will be satisfied.

jacket spud with beans no butter again - I'm cold and wanted something hot for lunch but the canteen only does spuds or full on meals and I'm not that hungry

popcorn tea? :)

What did I have... erm, a tiny bowl of pasta and pesto, some grapes, a clem and a banana.

We've just had a bacon sandwich, with mayo, lettuce and avocado. It was very nice, but we're meant to be having homemade burgers tonight which is virtually the same thing, except with a burger instead of bacon - obv - the addition of a cheese slice and in pitta instead of bread.

Might have to rethink that. :hmm:

mmmmm... avocado and bacon

I had a bowl of couscous, green beans, broccoli and smoked mackerel. Can't get enough of smoked mackerel at the moment.

Got some red onion/garlic/aubergine/courgette/sweet potato roasting in the oven to make soup with a bit of leftover spinach. Will do me for today and tomorrow at college.
