Lunch should have its own thread

The other half of the above cheese and ham sandwich was looking a bit sorry for itself. So saved the cheese, ham and made fresh toast and did some scrambled eggs and put the ham and cheese in, not bad and the birds got the spare bread.

OH had to go to hospital this morning as he ran out of salbutamol (details of why, and why he couldn't get an emergency one from a 24hr pharmacy is on the Pissed Off thread) during his shift last night and was feeling wheezy when he left work so went to Watford General A&E. Meaning that he was extremely late back from work and needed to eat as soon as he got in so he could get some kip as he is working tonight too.

So we had (a very rushed) lunch together for the first time in ages.

He had:
Meatless balls and rigatoni topped with cheddar and baked (spicy meatless ball sauce left over from yesterday when he had it with spaghetti, the balls were Vegetarian Butcher ones which are his favourite and were on special offer last week, I made the spicy tomato sauce they were in) with garlic bread

I had:
The remains of my chicken chasseur from last night with rigatoni stirred in and topped with parmesan, with a bit of baguette and butter.

OH had a G&T (Bombay Sapphire with plain Indian tonic) before heading to bed, I had a glass of merlot and a G&T. Boozy Sunday afternoon here I come!

We always eat leftovers. That is, if I can stop B from ganneting the whole bloody lot before it becomes leftovers. He's a walking human hoover!

We are a bit hit and miss with leftovers I do try, sometimes I pick all the good bits from the leftovers overnight and then don't want the rest the next day.
