I was at a Halloween party and had forgotten that it was such an important day of the week so no falafel. I scavenged a slice of pizza and some Pringles

Fucking knackered today, so had a canteen special: chicken kev, herb roasted new potatoes and braised red cabbage. Totally sorted me out

Southern fried chicken in a sourdough bun...and some onion rings.

American pancakes. Crispy bacon. Scrambled eggs for me, fried for her. Maple syrup. Coffee.

Before you judge, Pringles for lunch is pretty rare for me. Most days lunch is toast and something - jam or marmite. I’m not really adventurous with lunch, maybe I should be, but it always seems poor value to put a lot of effort into cooking what is fundamentally a small portion, when you can have something easy for lunch then make an effort with dinner, when you can in all good conscience eat twice as much.

Chips and mixed veg, as nothing else in the canteen appealed. Which was annoying as the CEO was paying and I like to try and get best value out of him

I know! I walked into work today though, so was limited to the corner shop or the bakers and neither of them sell falafel

I'm hopefully going to a Turkish place for tea tonight though. So I might get my fix later
